Italian Subway
When I was in Italy trying to get to Herculaneum I had to wait in this subway to switch trains. The freaky thing is, I was in this subway for 30 minutes all by myself! It was really really eerie. It was like the perfect opening scene for a horror movie. Well, you can check it out. Also when I docked in Athens with the Australians that I met and one of them jumped off the boat. Well, I got that video uploaded and you can check that out. It was quite a feat I must say.

Macs Answer to Photoshop?
"Apple has already been rumoured to be working on a Photoshop rival. ThinkSecret reported in late August that Adobe had mentioned an application called “Apple Photo Pro” in a
survey sent to customers. The site had also claimed to have its own
sources reporting that the application would be more like an “iPhoto in
steroids” than a real rival to Photoshop."
Job?
A company named EDO called me and said that they are, “Reconsidering me for employment.” How groovy is this? For those of you who don’t know, Lancaster, CA is a big in the Aeronautics Industry. Edwards Air Force Base is not too far from here and we have Northrop, Skunk works, and Lockheed Martin out here. Seeing a B-2 Bomber or stealth fighter fly over head and sonic booms are not uncommon. In fact, we are all used to it. They are currently working on the F-22 Raptor and everyday at 9:00am last summer a low rumbling sonic boom would occur. They test daily and at approximately the same time every day. Well, my friend Matt Morrison works there and when I went to apply they I saw all this air force paraphernalia. They made me put my cell phone in the car because it had a camera on it. No pen drives, or flash drives allowed. No iPods allowed. Everyone working there had a photo ID name tag. I had to sign in and wait for a background check before I could get a “Visitor” name tag. It might have been all for show, or maybe another department in the building is doing something secretive but because I work in the building I have to be checked out. Who knows... It eerily reminds me of Resident Evil. I could be this innocent computer help desk guy but the Hive will infect me with a virus that will kill me, resurrect me, and give me an appetite for living flesh. However, it does pay $12/hour. So maybe the risk is worth it. One thing that was like a thorn in my flesh was the test that I had to take for the job. It was all Windows 95 questions. I’m saying to myself, was that Windows 95 or Windows 2000? -- Floppy drive? I guess, from what Matt has told me, that EDO is subcontracted by Netgear to handle their level 2 tech support, so when India can’t figure out why you don’t have internet you come back to America level 2 support. What I can’t understand is that the test I take asks questions about dial-up even though the job is for networking and DSL or Cable use. However, it does pay $11/hour. Did I say that? Some of you are saying, “$11/hour is not good at all.” Considering that I’m 21 living in a wasteland and all of my friends are calling their jobs “good” because their making $8/hour then this is like a miracle. Also, EDO is a 24-hour tech. support hotline. So I can get 8 hour shifts in.
I pray that I can get it. It will pay good, especially if I’m planning on getting married, or going to Europe, or just anything. A bible verse comes to mind, “A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.” - Ecc 10:19
And yes it does.
WiFi iPod?
"Apple is working on a wi-fi equipped iPod: with networking capabilities and the ability to directly interface with Airport Express base stations for streaming of iPod audio -- and even downloading of music from the iTunes Music Store, grabbing Podcasts, et cetera."

The Sunbird Project - Standalone Calendar
The Sunbird Project - Standalone Calendar: "In addition, by focusing solely on standalone Calendar, we believe we can
make some dents in the overall footprint and performance of the Calendar
application by removing components and chrome we don't need."
This is pretty cool, it just came out and I'm going to play around with it and let you guys know how it's going. I really wish that they would make it iPod compatible though. I'm sick of having to do everything through Outlook, well, just Microsoft period.

Konfabulator
Well, school is going good I guess. I’m sitting in our school’s Educator’s Conference. The good thing is that classes are cancelled. I’m swamped with school work though. I have to outline the book of Daniel, write a paper on the difference between a pastor and evangelist, that’s the lightest one, a Bible doctrines paper, 5 pages. I also have a 5 page paper on the life of Joseph due for Genesis. Those are all due next week. Some cool things that I’m going to talk about technology wise. I downloaded a program Konfabulator, it’s probably the coolest thing that I’ve downloaded since I was a kid and went crazy looking for screen savers. Konfabulator created widgets. The new Mac OS uses the Konfabulator software for these widgets. The cool thing that I never knew was that Konfabulator has been around for a while and that it’s for both mac and pc. How cool is that? I highly recommend it, it’s fun to mess around with and is actually very useful.

Blah
This is cool, now I can Blog from anywhere. I downloaded that new MS Word add-in plug-in thingy where now I can Blog from my computer. However, I don’t have much to say right now. Hello World! I want to give an update about Betty and me but I don’t want to write about her and regret it later. So I’ll just say that I’m praying about it, I still believe that she’s God’s will for my life and that we are now on talking terms. I don’t want to pressure her or pursue her, well, I do, but I’m not going to because I know that she needs room and that she needs space. Also, I’ve been taking the class Homiletics 3 with Dr. Goetsch. That class is giving me a burden for souls and what’s funny is that it’s not even a class designed for that. Just hearing the quotes of other preachers and how they lived and stuff like that is unbelievable. Another thing, since you are all a part of my family, known and unknown, I will let you in on something that God may be working on in my heart. The thought is popping in and out of my head about being a missionary. More specifically, about being a missionary to Armenia. Crazy huh?! I don’t like the culture, it would have been the last thing on my list of things I’d want to do but if that’s what God wants then that’s what He’ll get. We’ll see though. I don’t even know how to pray about it, I figure if the impression becomes greater than I will. My brother reads my Blog occasionally so maybe he’ll read this, and if you do Danny, don’t say anything, not even to me ok? You too Timmy, this is just me thinking out loud, like I said before; WELCOME TO MY BRAIN!
